Orkli has a double commitment to the environment:

- Development plan for new products to help save energy in central heating installations: thermostatic valves, chronothermostats and distribution equipment for underfloor heating, central heating and domestic hot water that save up to 20% on consumption compared to a conventional central heating installation..

- Efficiency plan for its own manufacturing processes with reductions of up to 40% in water consumption and 30% in waste generation.

Orkli is the only manufacturer of thermostatic valves in Spain and since January 2006 has been a member of the “Kyoto Club”, set up by the biodiversity foundation belonging to the Ministry of the Environment.

Orkli’s commitment to innovation and the environment has recently led the company to develop components for solar heating systems, some of which have been in its range for several years now.

These commitments are endorsed by award of the European Environment Prize in Spain in 2004 in recognition of Orkli’s high level of environmental commitment. The award was in the category for Management for Sustainable Development and was given “for an appreciable improvement in performance in accordance with the company’s policies”.
