Orkli involved in research to develop a model framework for sustainable improvement schemes
On November 20 M. M. Carmen Jaca García, Assistant Professor to the Industry Organization Department of TECNUN, Engineering High School in San Sebastian (North of Spain), a member of the University of Navarra, who is doing his doctoral thesis on this subject and Leire Rivadulla Arano, a student who is working on his Master Thesis, visited ORKLI, with the aim of collaborating in research to develop a model framework for sustainable improvement systems oriented teamwork in organizations.
This research is being carried out in reference Companies which establish the degree of applicability and measurement of the factors under consideration. Orkli has been selected from a range of companies from the Basque Autonomous Region, awarded by the EFQM Excellence Award for the Basque Foundation for Quality Euskalit. Orkli already obtained these awards in the past. The new Director of Innovation and Systems of Orkli, Joaquin Garcia, who, incidentally, studied at the same center, will collaborate in this project, participating in the performance of the model framework and adding to it its long experience in projects related to organizational issues, innovation and systems.

Orkli free thermostatic heads
Even as the PEVR 2009-2012 "Spanish state Plan for building and rehabilitation" has already been approved, Orkli is launching a promotion called "Plan Reforma Vivienda" which comes into force on 1 October to 15 December 2009, giving free thermostatic heads by purchasing any of its radiator valves. Changes in the commercial management of Orkli.
Durante más de 30 años, Santiago Baez, Director Comercial de Orkli ha estado al frente de la dirección comercial en el mercado nacional y por tanto, un gran conocedor del mercado de la calefacción. Ahora, inicia una nueva etapa, su jubilación, que deseamos emprenda con la mayor de las ilusiones. Deja su relevo en manos de Beñat Zudaire, quien a lo largo del último año ha venido, de la mano de Santiago Baez, asumiendo este nuevo cargo y a quien, igualmente, deseamos mucha suerte en su nueva aventura. Beñat Zudaire, recién incorporado en Orkli es licenciado Ingeniero Industrial por la UPV de Donostia-San Sebastian y en los últimos años ha prestado sus servicios en el departamento comercial de una empresa del sector de la metalurgia.

Orkli takes part in the ALEXANDRA project
Orkli has been chosen to implement the Underfloor heating Lurbero project in the Alexandra building, where Enginyers and Abac Vimusa have also collaborated.This is a complex of 168 apartments in Sabadell (Barcelona) and has obtained the highest energy rating "A". The commitment of these entities with respect to developing solutions to environment and energy, also the policy developed by Orkli in the use of innovative approaches to ensure sustainability and environmental impact. The project is now in its phase of construction and its termination is expected by mid-2010. Orkli incorporates this important work to its extensive portfolio of projects launched in the coming months. Because obtaining the Certificate AENOR, recently awarded for their systems that meet all regulatory requirements in terms of thermal resistance (0.75 m2 K / W) and acoustic plates, confirmed once again Orkli as a leader in solutions for comfort and energy savings.

Orkli takes part in the European Energy Forum (Bilbao)
Orkli is going to participate in the European Forum of Energy in the BEC (Bilbao) on June 9,10 and 11. Orkli commitment to the environment, and its concern for saving and consumption for sustainable development, works on the development of products related to renewable energies
Along with other projects Mondragn Components (compact thermosolar panels, Stirling based domestic microcogeneration, Intelligent fixing systems eolic towers, ultra insulation panels for building and industrial applications, ultracapacitors and thermoelectric modules, among others) Orkli outlines its components solar systems at booth B-43-C44. Besides Mondragn Components, other companies of Mondragon Group will be engaged in the same stand (Mondragon Energy Danobat, Mondragon Unibertsitatea, ...)

Aenor certificate for ORKLI underfloor heating systems
From February 2009 Orkli was one of the four big companies obtaining the Aenor certificate for underfloor heating systems meeeting all the requirements of the UNE-EN 1264. Orkli takes part in ISH 2009 Frankfurt, from 10th to March 14.
Just landing from Climatisation 2009 Madrid, Orkli "packaged" again to Frankfurt to participate in the ISH 2009 last edition, as it was during the last years. The balance made by its commercial, technical and other Orkli personnel has been very positive. Its developments have focused on expanding its range of components for solar systems, as well as its most sophisticated and innovative solutions for the hot water (boliers hydraulic controls,...) amd asp its catalog for heating with infinite solutions. There have been very high-level contacts and both current and potential customers have shown great interest in the Orkli products.

Miguel Fernndez Prez Romn of the FPB, SL from Lugo has collected the prize in its facilities, that our delegate in Galicia D. Manuel Prado have given him.

Over 2,200 visitors recorded at the Orkli stand in Climatizacin 2009 (Madrid)
After the 2009 edition of Climatizacin in Madrid, it is to take evaluation of our participation and this is positive for Orkli, that more than 2,200 visitors were recorded, increasing by 12.5% with regard to 2008 edition. This is very important when we consider that given the current situation in which all the predictions pointed to a general decline in participation, Orkli has surpassed those of previous years. Interested by the new developments, the visitors showed a great interest in the product DRAIN UNIT SolarOrkli, a unit of automatic drainage to avoid problems of freezing and over temperature of the solar thermal collectors. Main advantage of this unit comparing thisthose on the market is the ability to adapt to more than two collectors, moreover other advantages, such as its compatibility with any type of solar panel. Also important the area of Underfloor heating and cooling Lurbero, which systems has been recently certified by AENOR among other 3 major companies in the sector. The full range of features for the home comfort that Orkli manufacturers and sells for more than 30 years.

Among other four big companies ORKLI obtains the AENOR certificate for underfloor heating systems.
So far, only four companies have achieved the certificate AENOR for underfloor heating systems, one of them ORKLI. The AENOR Certificate for underfloor heating systems are granted to companies that meet all the requirements of the UNE-EN 1264.
Lurbero Underfloor Heating of Orkli complies with all the requirements including the minimum thermal resistance required of 0.75 m2 K/W which the insulation panel has to meet with.. In addition, the panels has also acoustic properties, such as: the panel SRPAN25-P provides a sound insulation of 26dB and 22 dB of SRTR5 panel.
Certificate AENOR for Underfloor Heating Systems No 001/000671 granted to ORKLI is added to other previously achieved, and once again Orkli is a company at the forefront in obtaining certificates so for products as for the company itself.

Madrid, scene of the 2009 Annual Convention Trade Orkli.
The wide network of Orkli for Spain and Portugal has been brought together in Madrid in a single but intense session that culminated in an excellent restaurant with a working lunch. Chaired by the Commercial Director Santiago Baez and exhibitions of his Andoni Alustiza Director of Business and the responsible for Solar Thermal and Radiant Floor, Juan José Errazkin and Kepa Gaztañaga, respectively, the discourse has focused primarily on the strategic challenges set by Orkli for 2009, which include the positioning of the business of commercial heating and plumbing sector, the orientation of the product, and profitability, among others. Despite the "apathetic" in the sector and the market expectations for the coming months, with the illusion Orkli follows up its sales force and its policy of strengthening the team with new additions, as a tool to keep "spiders" levels of market those products in which it already has been the undisputed leader in recent years (thermostatic valves, zone valves ...), but above all with particular emphasis on its business of Radiant Floor Cooling Lurbero that year after year since its launch, has increased its business and its catalogue, as well as products for solar systems and those developments in these areas will be presented in the next edition of Climatización 2009, will have a strong role.
