April-2010 Orklis evaluation of underfloor heating-cooling training recently given to architects in Madrid Organized by Construible, a training course of low temperature air-conditioning installations was given about 80 architects on 14 and 15 April, where several experts analyzed micro-cogeneration, geothermal and distributions systems (underfloor heating). Last of one was given by Orkli. The aim of this course has been to reach out to architects those new technologies, materials and new systems related to sustainable construction and energy efficiency in buildings. As far as underfloor heating-cooling systems, Amaia Aizpurua was, as an experience product manager the responsible for giving the training content. She highlighted the AENOR certification obtained by Orkli on February 2009 for their underfloor heating-cooling systems that meet the most demanding requirements regarding thermal and acoustic resistance. There were some highlights that Amaia Aizpurua pointed out along the course, such as the advantages of this system before others, the different floor types, etc. as well as other important issues like the several phases of the project, the energy certifications, and what are the arguments to be use as prescriber to defend this type of solution. At the end of the course, there was a questionnaire about quality that the organisers gave to the attendees, obtaining Orkli an average rating of 4.5 points on 5. |
