April-2012 Orkli again awarded as preferred supplier by Bosch Buderus Thermotechnik Group Orkli has been again recognized in March by Bosch Thermotechnik Buderus Group as the best supplier in hydraulic solutions for their products. In its evaluation system there are 4 levels, Orkli is in the top group winning suppliers.
The award is received by the Orkli Group General Manager, Patxi Lopez Urkiola, from the Purchasing Director of the Bosch Group, Mr. Haussmann, an award given at the Group headquarters in Wernau, Germany.

April-2012 Orkli shows at latest edition of Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2012 in Milan The presence of Orkli Mostra Convegno in Milan Fair, held from 27 to 30 March, was marked by the exhibition of products of high added value in terms of technological innovation for saving and energy efficiency. Once again, Orkli has surprised to many visitors who passed through the booth throughout the four days, highlighting the excellence of a different company that provides security comfort, with own technology, using renewable energy taking care of the environment, at the same time.
Among the products featured in this edition Orkli has presented high-performance burners consist of ceramic fibers coated with silicon carbide, the ideal solution to the future regulatory framework for the sector in terms of energy efficiency and emissions control. Its main advantage is its compact design for high power, combined with a wide range of modulation and low emission levels.
In addition to these ceramic burners, there have been pumps solutions, automatic drain, indirect exchange and high-efficiency solar systems, solutions made from their own production plants and to achieve sustainable development and environmental respect. April-2012 The big promotional camping for underfloor heating-cooling ends with a technical conference in Orkli During the last 6 months, a promotional campaings was launched for underfloor heating-cooling systems. Taking advance of them, different technical conferences were hold at diferent parts of the country. The attendees in most of cases were around 250-300 people. The conferences were focused on the two main activities: solar systems and underfloor heating-cooling. The last day of the campaing, the technical conference was in Orkli to show the attendees to see the facilities. The end of the meeting was the lunch to share impressions. |

March-2012 Orkli launches Youtube and Vimeo channel With the corporate video in 10 languages Orkli intended to inform clients and potential consumers about their products their company philosophy and their manufacturing processes.
Orkli has opened its Youtube and Vimeo video channel, which corporate video, at present, can be viewed in over 10 languages. For this reason Orkli seeks to follow the trend of their presence on social networks and video channels in order to keep its brand positioning. This video records in 8 minutes and a half the company philosophy, belonging to a large group, production facilities, its proximity to clients and their commercial position in the five continents with production plants and foreign delegations. February-2012 Orkli latest innovations at the fair Interclima + elec 2012 in Paris From 7 to 10 February, Orkli took part as an exhibitor at the fair Interclima Paris, with new products of its catalogue 2011-2012. The show in general has received over 85,000 visitors, nearly 40% of these installers. Orkli booth has received many professionals interested in products related to renewable energy and underfloor heating-cooling systems. The most interest was focused in the solar system oksol-150, a solar collector "all in one" that integrates within all the necessary elements for a solar thermal installation. Other products with high added value such as the wide range of solar pump stations and automatic drainage system, drain-unit, a system for facilities with a number of collectors that doubles the existing system on the market.
Again, the image of Orkli in international exhibitions like this, confirms the innovative potential of a company with a strong presence worldwide, with the latest trends in systems and products to achieve greater savings and energy efficiency in the Home Comfort area. |

February-2012 More than a 40% increase in logistics platform. The Orkli warehouse in Irura facilities has experienced in recent months a major renovation with the introduction of a new lay-out in its facilities, simplifying the structure of most stores, inventory management and shipments, which leads to further ensure the strictest commitment to service 48 hours. The new industrial organization in which Orkli has been working in recent months, includes a new layout of the two activities of home comfort áreas (heating and domestic hot water and heating&plumbing), seeking synergies and improve the flow production and release of space in the industrial area.
Thus, these were combined shipments of the two businesses into a single logistics platform by expanding Irura facilities in more than 40% of its capacity in order to both facilitate activities related to quality control, as to improve computer systems, optimize inventory management and control among other locations, so late picking activities are also optimized.
So, shipments to customers of heating&plumbing business, which already had this service commitment of 48 hours for several years, will now take advantage from the innovative techniques used in the Supply Chain of Water Heating business (lean manufacturing, pull system, kanban, etc..) with which Orkli already is working with key customers: Bosch, Vaillant, Viessman, Ariston, etc.. |

February-2012 Orkli Annual Sales Meeting on 23rd and 24th February As every year, the Annual Sales Meeting was held in the facilities of Orkli on 23rd and 24th February where the domestic sales network met together. Starting with the message of the General Manager, Patxi López Urkiola who encourage them to continue with the commitment, effort and hope to face the market, but mostly focusing on the tolos and resources that a company like Orkli offers to the commercials.
The Sales Director, Beñat Zudaire, presented a market analysis and some macroeconomic data as well as total Orkli turnover, which exceded any historical data (Orkli Thermoelectric Safety leadership allows itI and Home Comfort in particular with similar figures than year 2010.
Forecast for 2012 with lightly increase on the turnover, but with a great variety of actions plan presented by the Marketing responsable about the different áreas as: new products, wide range of catalogue in solar and underfloor heating systems and other related to the key customers relationship, promotional campaings, attendance at major exhibitions in Europe, mainly and the firm commitment to continue with training alfo for 2012.
Next day, Iñigo Hernández, the Industrial Director exposed the new industrial organization for Home Comfort, with the target to take advantages of the synergies and optimization of processes, logistic and a better service rate, thus ensuring strict Orkli commitment the last years of 48 hours service. Later on, the technicians for Underfloor heating and solar systems, as well as the technican for the solar collector “all in one” and that one for heating & plumbing answered all the questions about the technical characteristics of the new products.

February-2012 ORKLI, a different company It's been a year since Orkli joined as active part in the Eco-Efficiency Programme in the Basque Enterprise 2014, and both economic and environmental benefits in this period have already succeded, with actions aimed at oil recovery and oil cut hydraulic optimization of the process of cleaning with detergent and reuse of spent baths; tricoroetileno removal of the cleaning process and the centralization of raw materials and wastes, with reductions between 50 and 70%. January-2012 More than 250 professionals in a Technical Conference in Seville on 19th January Within the promotion of underfloor heating-cooling, the initiative of technical sessions in various parts of the country, is being sucessful. Once again, we have ve been around a thousand participants in the four rounds so far, we have surpassed the figure of 250 professionals, with the collaboration of our sales network in the South Zone, who has gathered professionals: Engineers, Architects, Technical Services, Distributors, Installers,... in Seville, on January 19th. The main topics of the day: Underfloor Heating-Cooling highlighted the importance of AENOR certification have to Orkli and at last, but not least for our customers. The Solar System OKSOL-150, once again, created a great expectation due to its composition: it integrates all the elements of a conventional installation inside the collector.
