ORKLI's ControlKlima by iDomus, AUNA award for the most innovative product of 2023

Auna Distribución, the largest Spanish group of independent distributors of electrical material, renewable energies, plumbing and HVAC, last night recognised ORKLI's efforts in R&D with this award.

ControlKlima is the "brain" of ORKLI's iDomus intelligent regulation system

Last Thursday, ORKLI's ControlKlima device received the award in the Plumbing, Heating and Climate category for the Most Innovative Product of 2023 at the Aúna Awards gala, held annually by this purchasing centre, the largest group of independent distributors of electrical material, renewable energies, plumbing and HVAC in Spain.

At a gala held last night, the members of the AUNA group recognised the company's efforts in R&D, especially in the field of smart regulation and home automation.

ControlKlima is the master device of ORKLI's iDomus climate control and zoning system. The system can be used to manage underfloor heating/cooling, ventilation equipment with heat recovery, climate-monitored grilles and zoned fan coil systems. The system can control up to 8 different air-conditioning zones, controlling the dew point independently in each of them.

This recognition of the technological innovation that ControlKlima represents in regulation and home automation systems comes after the roadshow with which ORKLI has brought the product closer to both distributors and installers in 2023 at the various AÚNA Partner Days organised by Aúna.

ControlKlima, developed by ORKLI, is also characterised by its ability to simultaneously record, with a single thermostat, the operation of all home air conditioning systems regardless of their manufacturer. This is possible because it has two bus connections, BUSing® and Zbus.

In this sense, the members of the jury as well as distributors and hundreds of installers from all over Spain throughout 2023 were able to evaluate the ControlKlima device first-hand, getting to know aspects such as the connection of thermostats and climate modules with two wires without polarity; the parallel monitoring of air conditioning and ventilation; the ease of installation by avoiding the aerothermal buffer tank; the control of dew points; the monitoring of underfloor heating in bathrooms without the need for a thermostat and the ease with which the unit allows optimal integration with home automation.

On behalf of ORKLI, Beñat Zudaire, Director of Orkli's Comfort and Health Business, is grateful for the recognition of "the company's firm commitment to the development of more sustainable and energy-efficient equipment".

In fact, one of ControlKlima's greatest contributions to home automation is the ease with which the equipment can be integrated into ORKLI's iDomus home automation management system. Simplicity in the integration of the regulation of various equipment and variables of domestic air conditioning was a long-awaited demand by both the installer and the user.
