In November, Orkli received a new innovation award, the AUNA 2020 prize. We went to its facilities in Ordizia to talk to the Heating Business Manager, Beñat Zudaire.

"The AUNA 2020 award is an external recognition from an important client for us, and is in turn confirmation of a job well done, the confirmation that the path we have chosen is the right one". This is what Beñat Zudaire, Orkli's Heating Business Director, says.

The cooperative from Goierri in the province of Gipuzkoa is firmly committed to innovation and the transformation of its offer, especially over the last decade. They have R&D spaces capable of recreating real situations that allow them to generate innovative solutions. Thus, they develop exclusive gas safety systems, with which they are leaders in the sector. Solutions like CERAMAT, an exclusive material prepared to face the challenges of the future in the world of combustion. And innovative products worldwide such as OKSOL, the only forced solar panel that does not require electricity to operate and that is verified in a space capable of recreating a real situation. Valid solutions developed with the aim of adapting and anticipating the new housing construction codes, which is already a reality.

In this race for innovation, to the already mentioned OKSOL and CERAMAT, we must add PKOM⁴, undoubtedly a unique team. A system that offers four solutions in a single device (ventilation, heating, cooling and production of ACS) allowing significant space savings.

Underfloor heating and cooling solutions

The future of heating goes through the underfloor. This is why Orkli has developed a complete range of solutions, from a unique insulation panel on the market to a wide variety of hydraulic units. All with the aim of boosting energy efficiency, guaranteeing safety and maximizing the profitability of each project. The Ordizia cooperative is also committed to ventilation solutions, with dual-flow systems with heat recovery and unique solutions on the market for Passive House and NZEB buildings.
